Online Ordering

The way you order your repeat medication has changed.  We have introduced a new service called

Patient Access

What is Patient Access?

Patient Access is a service provided by EMIS (our clinical system) that allows you to access your practice online. Patient Access allows you to:

  • Order repeat medication.

How do I register?

You can register for Patient Access by firstly visiting your practice in person and requesting a registration letter which will enable you to set up a full account. This needs to be requested when you visit the practice and will require identification. Once you have the letter you can then enter the details from the letter into the registration form. This is found by visiting the following link: https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk/Register

How do I order a repeat prescription?

Patient Access

There is a link called Make a request in the Repeat Prescriptions section of the home page after you have signed into Patient Access.

3) You can also email your repeat prescription request to

 dg.charlottestreetmp@nhs.scot

We will need you name, date of birth, prescriptions required and which chemist you wish us to send it to.

Two working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) are required to process your repeat prescription. Please do not order your repeat prescription too early as it will not be processed until it is due. If you need to order your medication early, for example if you are going on holiday, then please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate this.

Please use the attached tear-off slip on your current prescription at the time of collection for safety and security to order your next prescription.

The local chemists offer a collection and delivery service and they will be happy to provide details of this on request.

All prescriptions will be sent directly to your nominated chemist. Please let us know which chemist you would like to use.

Prescription can no longer be picked up from the Surgery.
