Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, all GP practices in the region, working closely with NHS Dumfries and Galloway, have had to take the decision to change the way in which we deliver services in order to protect patients and staff.
Some non-urgent clinics and appointments are suspended to allow GPs to focus on the most vulnerable patients with the most complex needs.
Although doors are locked, WE ARE OPEN but all patient contact is initially by telephone, with follow on face-to-face appointments arranged only if absolutely necessary. Online booking services have been temporarily suspended.
Please do not attend the surgery unless you have a pre-arranged appointment made with the practice.
Clinicians are able to deal with many problems over the phone and will be trying to deal with as much as possible in this way. Please be assured that if you need a GP or nurse they will still be available to help you. The practice staff will need to ask more questions to ensure you are dealt with in the safest possible way.
All prescriptions will be sent to your nominated chemist. For the safety of patients and staff, please do not come to collect prescriptions from the practice. They will be sent to your nominated chemist. Please continue to order your medication as normal and do not order more than you need. Arrangements will be made for you to get your sick lines, usually by email.
